The Forest Lake City Council is now Accepting Applications for Appointment to City Council!
Due to a vacancy that now exists on the Council after Mayor Roberts was sworn into office on January 13, 2025, the City Council is seeking applications from qualified residents to serve as a City Councilmember for the remainder of the Council term held by now-Mayor Roberts. This appointment will be through 2026. Applications will be received through 4:30 PM on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Following Council review of applications, finalists will be chosen to interview before the City Council; appointment is anticipated on February 10, 2025.
Interested resident should complete the application online by January 22, 2025. Questions can be directed to Mayor Roberts or City Clerk/Interim City Administrator Jolleen Chaika.
